Judge Dan Hinde has been capably handling his duties as Judge of the 269th District Court of Harris County for almost ten years. Growing up here, he knows Houston and what makes our city special. He was a National Merit Scholar Finalist at Klein Forest High School before attending Texas A&M, where he graduated magna cum laude. Then, it was on to the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an editor on the Texas Law Review and graduated with honors in 1997.
Building on his academic success, Dan Hinde clerked for U.S. District Judge Sim Lake (a Reagan appointee) and then worked in private practice with a varied caseload. He brings a lifetime of community service and legal experience to his current post as Judge for the 269th District Court. He is uniquely qualified to administer justice in Harris County. During his nearly ten years on the bench, Judge Hinde has earned the respect of his peers for his confident leadership in the courtroom and his measured and decisive rulings.
Dan and his wife Rosanna are members of First Presbyterian Church and the proud parents of son David and daughter Anne.
